For our last full day on safari, the thick cloud cover started to fade away giving some brilliant light. This resulted in some of my better leopard photos, which I saved for today. With the clouds gone, I was also able to do some more astrophotography.

Today’s post will be split into two because there are some portrait photos I really don’t want to crop 😅 So we’ve got the lions finishing up yesterday’s wildebeest, elephants lumbering around, and a lion being goofy before he roars. Check out the video at the end.

We were able to see The Big 5 all in this one day, but featured in this photo story are lions with their cubs around a recent kill, elephants encroaching on the lions and making then uneasy, and a rhino going about its business.
